About Us
Established in 1996, Inspirations Dancewear and Costumes Ltd. is owned and operated by Sharyn and Amber Riedel, a mother-daughter dynamic duo. Together Sharyn and Amber bring over 30 years of experience working in the dancewear market.
Inspirations' large staff consist of current and former dance students, dance teachers and dance moms. Each is trained extensively in customer service, product and fitting knowledge and the dancewear industry in general. Though each staff brings a unique perspective from the type of dance they study to their age, everyone at Inspirations shares a passion and love of dance.
Inspirations is committed to the continued development of skills and knowledge to best serve their customers. Inspirations is proud to be members of the Dancewear Association of Canada and attend a number of trade shows and workshops each year to support the staff's continuing education as well as searching for the best products and prices for customers.
Indeed years of attending industry related workshops, conferences and trade shows have assisted in Inspirations growth from its tiny 900 square foot store to the current 5000 square foot superstore. Amber and Sharyn however, still attribute becoming one of Canada's largest dancewear suppliers to the fact they have the privilege to be in the store each day serving their customers and listening to the ever-changing needs of Canadian dancers first hand.
The staff and owners of Inspirations are proud of their years of service to the dance community and look forward to continuing to promote and support the art of dance.
